So the next project we have undertaken is to make and activity book for the hospital. It's all black and white so graphics aren't going to be a huge thing but here the first creation i have done

Brian Harries

Brian Harries does alot of diffrent styles, my favorite being his concept art created for the game among skies. He adds alot of detail into his drawings and creates amazing fantasy worlds. The one below is a picture of among skies that he drew depicting some futuristic ships leaving a floating city.

Ben Heine

Ben Heine is a photographer that puts a twist in his work. He makes a photo series called Pencil vs Camera in whick he takes a picture and then draws something that lines up with the scenery to create something like the picture below.

He also creates double landscape pictures where he takes 2 pictures of a certain scenery and flips one and puts it over the other one. its almost like a mirror effect but the 2 sceneries are taken in diffrent areas giving it a unique look.

Well this was done with animation and photoshop. We were practising using rigs to recreate a pose from a picture. I used a pic of NPH fighting a group of ninjas for this one. Heres the pic of him fighting the nijas and my recreation below it.

Andy Park

Andy Park is another great artist. He currently works at Sony and was one of the artists for the god of war video game. He also had done work for television, film and publishing industries. Some clients include: ABC, HBO, Marvel, DC, Maxim magazine. He also worked on comic books like Tomb Raider, Uncanny X-Men, and Excalibur. My personnal favorites are the pictures of scenery and diffrent worlds like the one below.

Bobby chui's art is awesome! He is a fantasy, concept artist who is currently working as an illistrator for film and television. Kienan Lafferty

Kienan Lafferty is a photoshop artist who works for Riot games. I really like the art he has done on some of the characters like the one below

First Assignment

OK! First assignment of the year is done. Heres a History magazine cover featuring the Poet Edgar Allen Poe. (I am a bit rusty)

One of my favorite photographers is Galen Rowell. He is a nature potographer and travels all over the worl taking pictures. Last year I even put a collage together from his work. Hope you like it!

Alright! To start off my blog i'll tell you a few things about myself. My name is daniel hopkins. I have blond hair and blue eyes and I love video games. I hope one day to be a video game programmer, but my school does not offer those courses so for the next few months, i will be posting projects from the next best courses. Graphic design, and as the year goes by i might post some of my animation projects as well. LOOK FORWARD TO IT!!!
